To configure a Shaw High-Speed Internet Email account in Outlook Express:

• Open Outlook Express
• Click the Tools menu
• Select Accounts
• Click Add, then click Mail
• Type the name in Display name as you want it to appear in the Email From: field
• Click Next
• Enter your Email address (your username@shaw.ca)
• Click Next
• Confirm the Incoming mail server is set to POP3
• Set Incoming mail (POP3) server to shawmail
  
• Set Outgoing mail (SMTP) server to shawmail
• Click Next
• The Account name field displays the Email username (whatever appears before @shaw.ca in your email address)

• Enter your @shaw.ca email account password in the Password field (displays as *********)

• Click a checkmark in the Remember password box
• Ensure that Secure Password Authentication is NOT checked
• Click Next
• Click Finish
• Click Close to return to Outlook Express
