To configure your Shaw High-Speed Internet Email account in Outlook Express 4.5:

• Open Outlook Express 4.5
• Click the Edit menu
• Select Preferences
• Click the Email category under Accounts (click the arrow to display sub-categories if hidden)
• Click the New Account button
• Type a friendly name in the Account Name field (this name is for display purposes only within the Outlook Express 4.5 application, it is not reflected on any outgoing email)
• Click OK
• Type your name into the Full Name field
• Type your full Email address (username@shaw.ca) into the Email Address field
• The SMTP Server is shawmail
• Type your username (your Email address, without the @shaw.ca) into the Account ID field
• The POP Server is shawmail
• If you don't want to be prompted for a password each time you retrieve your mail, place a checkmark beside Save Password and type your password
• Click OK
